You should write an application on retention of the number to the Customer Service Centre or fill in here and send to us via fax. Solely the time - based payment system and fixed number mobile subscribers may send applications via fax, the clients, who use prepayment cards, should come to the Customer Service Centre personally.

How are the calls charged? Calls are charged on a per second basis. The charging begins from the 1st second.
Can I hide my number? (so that the person whom I call would not see my number) Yes, this is a chargeable service and it is activated in the handset. Activation of this service costs Ls 12. As soon as the number hiding is activated, a message "Withheld" appears on the display of the call subscriber.
How to activate the number hiding? The number hiding option depends upon the handset model. According to the model the service can be activated in two ways: - Menu -> Settings -> Call settings -> Sending of own number -> No - Compose number -> Options (or more)-> Hide own number
Can I use voicemail? No, this option is not available.
Can I forward calls? Yes, this service is free of charge and it is activated in the handset. Forwarding is possible in following cases:
- if the handset is switched off;
- forwarding on no answer;
- forwarding on busy;
- in all cases.
Is the forwarding service chargeable? The service is free of charge, but you should pay for a call from your handset to the handset to which you have forwarded calls. For example, if you forward calls to an LMT number, then a person, who will call you, will pay for a call to IZZI, and you will pay for a call to LMT.
How can I reroute calls? Such service is connected on default and activated in your handset. You can do it this way: Menu -> Settings -> Call settings -> Call rerouting. Rerouting in Video phones can be done this way: Main menu -> Tools -> Control panel -> Call settings- > Divert calls
Can I switch off outgoing calls, for example, to foreign numbers? No, for technical reasons such option is not available.

How can I send SMS abroad? Enter a text, the addressee's number should be entered as follows: 1) 00 or +; 2) country code; 3) city or region code (if any); 4) addressee's phone number. Such option is connected on default, SMS costs Ls 0.06
Is it possible to reroute SMS to another number? No, SMS rerouting is not available.
What is it - SMS delivery report? An SMS delivery report is a message confirming that the addressee has received SMS.
How can I receive SMS delivery report? An SMS delivery report can be activated in your handset or enter "!" symbol before a text An SMS delivery report costs Ls 0.05, but no more than Ls 1 a month.
When I am abroad of Latvia will I have to pay for incoming SMS? No, incoming SMS are free of charge irrespective of which country you are in.
What is it - SMSC Address? SMS address (SMS service centre address) is an SMSC number responsible for delivery of SMS to addressees, where SMS can be stored if the addressee's handset is switched off and if he can't receive the message at the moment. SMS are stored for 24 hours.
What is SMSC number? SMSC number is +371 25850115 , it should be stored in your handset. Usually the SMSC number is pre-set in the default profile of settings stored in the SIM card, and it is set automatically.

To which networks can I send MMS? You can send MMS to all IZZI users and all BITE users in Latvia and Lithuania.
How can I find out whether my handset can send and receive MMS? Such information is available in your handset User Manual or also in Internet.
How can I load MMS settings in my handset? Send SMS with a text "START" to the number 1600. Save settings. Switch off and switch on your handset. SMS "START" is free of charge.

1 Mb = 100-300 electronic messages without appendix or 30 - 50 Word text files or 300 - 400 WAP addresses.

How much does it cost to call home? (LR) If you are in EU countries, then a call to Latvia costs Ls 0.40 /min (to any number, save for premium rate numbers), but if you are outside of EU, then a call will cost as per rates of an operator in every country. For further details call IZZI.
How much do I have to pay if while abroad I receive calls from Latvia? When abroad, you have to pay for all incoming calls. To receive calls from Latvia while abroad will cost as much as a call from Latvia costs to this country. If you are in EU country then you will pay for incoming call Ls 0.19 /min.

What is the call registry? If your handset is outside of the coverage area or switched off after switching on or after appearance of the area you will receive a message with a list of incoming calls.
How does it happen? When your phone is out of reach there happens rerouting to the system's special number, there all numbers are stored until your phone becomes available.
How much does this service cost? For every received message you have to pay Ls 0.05 (but no more than Ls 1 a month).
How can I order the call registry? In order to activate this service you should send SMS with a text "ZR" to the number 1600. You can activate it in your handset - create rerouting to the number +371 25850114 in cases when your phone is out of reach.
How can I cancel the call registry? Send SMS with a text "ZR" to the number 1600. Or just cancel rerouting if out of reach.
What is displayed in this message? In one message up to 5 numbers are displayed, how many times every number has called and the time of call.
Why the call registry doesn't work in my handset? a. Probably incoming calls in your handset are bared (then rerouting to the special number is unavailable). Unlock incoming call barring. b. Probably you have changed rerouting in your handset, then just resend SMS with a text ZR to the number 1600.
When using the call registry, while making a call a caption "Rerouting is activated" is displayed. Why? It means that you have activated rerouting to the system's number, when your phone is out of reach. This is only an informative text.
Do those, who call me, have to pay for the call if my call registry is activated? No, if your phone is out of reach and the call registry is activated the caller doesn't have to pay for calls.

Does video call work in GSM network? No, video call works in UMTS network. For the present the UMTS network is available in Riga and Riga region. FOR THE PRESENT VIDEO CALL WORKS IN TEST MODE.
Does my handset support a video call option? In order to check whether a handset supports video call or not, refer to the table.
To whom can I make video calls? For the present you can call only those subscribers of the IZZI network, whose handsets support the video call option.
How can I make video calls? Compose a number and, pressing the "Options" or "More" button, choose an option "Video call" in "Menu"

I have lost my handset. What should I do? Call IZZI within 24 hours after the loss. An operator will ask security questions about data given in the contract. Afterwards for your number the incoming and outgoing data stream will be blocked.
Should I only make a call? Within 3 days after loss of the card you should send a confirmation in writing that the handset was lost.
How can I get a new SIM card? A new SIM card will be issued to the client no later than within 48 hours after receipt of the confirmation in writing. To receive a SIM card you have to present identity papers (passport or driver's license) at the Customer Service Centre.

I have received together with the SIM card PIN and PUK codes (they were written on SIM card package). What are they? PIN code protects your phone against unauthorized use. If it is difficult for you to remember PIN code given to you, you can change it to another one. It should be done manually in your handset. PUK code is used to unblock SIM card, if it is blocked after you had entered the wrong PIN code 3 times in row.
Are there PIN2 and PUK2 codes? There are no such codes.
I have forgotten my PIN code. What should I do? If you have forgotten your PIN code or have entered the wrong code 3 times, then your SIM card will be blocked. To unblock SIM card, enter PUK code. Then enter a new PIN code.
I have lost my PIN and PUK codes. What should I do? We know only PIN and PUK codes, given on default. If you have entered the wrong PIN code 3 times, then we can tell your PUK code. Enter PUK code, and then enter a new PIN code.
What is a credit limit? Every new IZZI client is granted a credit limit up to Ls 50. As soon as 95% of the granted credit is used, IZZI informs the client by phone that the credit limit soon might be maxed out. The client can increase the credit limit by making prepayment or paying off the bill. If the bill is not settled or if you fail to call - we can block outgoing calls and SMS sending
How much does a call cost to IZZI clients? A call costs as much as the operator has determined from which number you are calling.
I'd like to vote or send pictures and melodies with the help of SMS. But there only Tele2, LMT and BITE subscribers are indicated. To which number can I send? You can certainly send to the numbers indicated for BITE clients.
