IZZI has acquired internet service provider „Alva Pluss”, which operated in Aizkraukle. 

By acquisition of „Alva Pluss” IZZI group has significantly strengthened its position in internet service provision business in Aizkraukle.

IZZI CEO Evija Jugno, commenting acquisition of company, underlines: „IZZI during 2008 very actively works on acquisition of companies in order to reach market consolidation goal. Currently in Aizkraukle we offer cable TV, fixed and mobile telephony services as well as internet services. We are gratified that IZZI has increased its market share in Aizkraukle and there is one more district centre in Latvia, where all our services are available..”

This year IZZI group has enlarged already by five companies: it has acquired ISP companies „A Technologies” (Rezekne), „Maksinets”, „Com4tel Sakari” and „Fastnets” (Riga), but company from Kuldiga „Eltra IT” provides internet and cable TV services. In 2008 IZZI has purchased also cable TV network in Valmiera and internet network, which belonged earlier to Kuldiga based company „Kurzemes IT”.  

At present moment IZZI negotiates on acquisition of several companies, aspiring to increase its market share in cable TV and internet service business.
