Turnover of IZZI group in 1st quarter of 2008 – almost two million lats
According to financial results, in first quarter of 2008 turnover of IZZI has reached 1.927 million lats.
Turnover of IZZI group comparing to 1Q of 2007 has increased by 0.527 million lats or by 37%. Profit in 1Q was 455 thousand lats, what is more than 2.5 times higher than profit in 1Q of 2007. Investments in 1Q were almost 0.5 million lats.
Commenting results of first quarter, CEO of IZZI Urzula Briede underlines: „Beginning if year has to be considered as success, proving that IZZI in its business aspires to development and wants to create opportunities for customers to use newest technological solutions. Profit indicators and increase of turnover show that telecommunication business is very dynamic, it demands ability of each service provider to react fast to changes in shift of consumers’ wishes. I am sure that IZZI is able to react to changes in market and successfully implement its strategy of “ one stop agency”– ensure all telecommunication services for clients”.
In 2008 company plans to reach turnover of 8.7 million as well as increase profit. IZZI group continues in 2008 its drive towards perfection of services. From March this year IZZI offers fixed telephony services in Rezekne, in the second half of year it is planned to start providing this service also in several other cities where IZZI cable network exists.
In order to ensure improvement of client service level, IZZI has expanded national significance call center in Rezekne by doubling number of accessible lines and increasing number of operators. Company continues to extend by acquiring new telecommunication service providers and participating in consolidation of market.
Currently IZZI group consists of six companies – SIA „IZZI”, SIA „IZZI COM”, SIA „IZZI FAO”, SIA „IZZI Ethernet”, SIA „IZZI Ultracom” and „DT Komunikācijas”. Company serves 106,000 families (households). Services of IZZI are ensured by team having almost 170 staff members, 100 of them are involved directly in client service.
